First Impressions

The hotel is very clean and modern. The lobby is large and welcoming with plenty of comfortable seating. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My room was on the 17th floor with a partial ocean view (just the tops of the palm trees!).

It was very spacious with a large balcony, 2 queen beds, a couch, and a desk. The bathroom was also very spacious with a large walk-in shower and plenty of counter space.

Location:

It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to 5th Avenue where all the restaurants and shops are located. There are plenty of beach umbrellas and chairs for guests to use.

Amenities:

The hotel has 2 outdoor pools (one with a swim-up bar), a fitness center, and a spa. There are also 3 restaurants on-site (an Italian, a buffet, and a steakhouse). I didn’t eat at any of the restaurants but they all looked very nice.

Overall:

I had a great stay at the Hotel Riu Plaza! The room was spacious and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again!
